Rider and Passenger went down (Male 52 and Male 25) on 1 June 2019 just before 1:22 am on the R603 past the Engen Centre approx. 2km from the Camperdown off-ramp, Mkhambathini, KwaZulu-Natal.
The rider believed to have been intoxicated and speeding lost control of the motorcycle and crashed while on their way home. The rider was found laying off the road in the grass P2, about 10m away from the bike and the son was P3. Both were stabilised on the scene and taken to a nearby hospital for further care.
