At 15:20 Friday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on William Campbell drive near Armstrong Avenue in La Lucia.
Reports from the scene indicate that two motorcycles and a car were involved in a collision.
Medics assessed the scene and found that one motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene following a full advanced life support resuscitation.
The second motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene before being transported by ambulance to the hospital.
The motorist did not sustain any injury.
Circumstances leading up to the collision will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
