A male motorbike rider, believed to be 30-years-old, sustained serious injuries in a collision with a taxi on the corners of Dr James Moroka Ave and Sol Plaatjie street in Potchefstroom last night.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene just before midnight on 10 May 2018, they found the motorbike rider lying next to his bike on the road. Upon further assessment, paramedics found that he sustained serious injuries.
Paramedics treated the man and provided him with pain relief medication before he was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not yet known to our paramedics, but the police were on the scene for further investigations.
